While we are social distancing, there are many ways to stay connected with our family and friends whether they are right down the street or across the miles.

You could mail a social distancing greeting card or host a video chat.

I have been jumping on Zoom calls, FaceTime, and Facebook Messenger more and more during this period of social distancing.

Every Wednesday, I have a standing happy hour call with my mom and sister, which is something fun to look forward to every week.

The three of us have all been stepping up our cocktail game (oh hey rosé wine ideas) and each week we chat about what our favorite drink we’ve enjoyed and our plans to stay occupied during quarantine.

While it’s great to chat about our week and what’s new in our lives — “I ventured out of the house for the first time and nearly had a panic attack at the garden center!” (true story) — it’s also fun to switch things up a bit with a happy hour activity.

I put together a list of 10 questions for happy hour that we can all answer and take turns sharing. There’s also a fun printable you can download and share with your family and friends.

Have each participant take a few minutes prior to the call to answer questions and then take turns responding.
