This Mother’s Day sure is different than most. For starters, I won’t be hugging my Mom. Thanks, coronavirus!
This pandemic has many of us having to forego our usual traditions, whether that’s taking mom out to her favorite restaurant or hosting brunch at home.
Holidays and celebrations are going virtual and we are finding alternative ways to celebrate.
My mom will be coming over to my backyard for a social distancing happy hour and I’m excited to drop this card in her trunk to read later.
Later in the day, my nuclear family (my husband and my three boys) will enjoy dinner together. We ordered takeout from a local restaurant – Mom doesn’t have to cook and we get to support a local restaurant! Win win!
