Rose wine sangria with straw flags

If there’s one drink that belongs at every 4th of July party, it’s this one. This gorgeous Rosé, Strawberry, Apple, and Blueberry Sangria is basically a holiday in a glass — red, white, and blue never tasted so good.

The best part? You can mix up a big batch ahead of time, so you’re free to actually enjoy your party instead of playing bartender all afternoon. Just combine, chill, and pour. It’s that easy.

This Rosé, White, and Blueberry Sangria comes together with just a handful of simple ingredients, most of which you can grab at any grocery store the day before your party. You’ll need a bottle of rosé wine, a splash of brandy, sliced strawberries, chopped apple, and fresh blueberries for that patriotic red, white, and blue look. Top it all off with a can or two of Cran-Raspberry LaCroix for a little fizz, and you’re done!

This sangria is just as perfect for a casual backyard cookout as it is for a festive summer gathering. And honestly, you don’t need a holiday as an excuse to make it. Any warm summer evening will do.

I highly recommend you enjoy your Rosé, White, and Blueberry Sangria in these shatterproof acrylic wineglasses for a fuss free outdoor gathering. No one wants to clean up broken glass!

What is Rose, White, and Blueberry Sangria?

Sangria is a classic Spanish wine punch traditionally made by combining wine with fruit, a splash of spirits, and a little something bubbly. It’s meant to be made in a big batch, served cold, and shared with a crowd, which makes it basically the perfect party drink.

Rosé sangria swaps the traditional red wine for a light, fruity rosé, giving it a beautiful blush color and a slightly sweeter, more delicate flavor. It’s lighter than classic red wine sangria but still has plenty of depth from the brandy and fresh fruit. The fruit soaks up the wine as it chills, so every sip is packed with flavor. You’ll want to eat those boozy strawberries and blueberries straight out of the glass.

Ingredients you’ll need for this recipe

  • Strawberries, sliced
  • 1 Apple, peeled and chopped
  • Blueberries
  • 1 bottle of Rosé wine
  • Approximately 1/4 c of brandy
  • Seltzer water (I used 1-2 cans of Cran-Raspberry LaCroix)

Tips for adding flavor or changing it up a little bit

  • Swap the bubbly. The Cran-Raspberry LaCroix adds a subtle berry flavor that works beautifully here, but you can use any sparkling water, lemon-lime soda, or even Prosecco if you want something a little fancier.
  • Let it chill longer. The longer your sangria sits in the fridge, the more the fruit infuses into the wine. Make it the night before your party for the best flavor. Just add the seltzer right before serving so it stays fizzy.
  • Try different fruit combinations. Raspberries, peaches, or watermelon would all be delicious additions or swaps. Stick with the blueberries and strawberries if you want to keep that patriotic red, white, and blue look!
  • Adjust the sweetness. If you prefer a sweeter sangria, add a tablespoon or two of simple syrup or a splash of raspberry lemonade. Prefer it drier? Skip the flavored seltzer and use plain sparkling water instead.
  • Make it a mocktail. Skip the wine and brandy and use non-alcoholic wine or white grape juice plus sparkling water for a crowd-pleasing alcohol-free version that looks just as festive.
