Throw a St. Patrick's Day party with these ideas and free printables from elvamdesign.com

Hi friends! I’m so excited to finally share my St. Patrick’s Day Party… from last year!

This party was so colorful and easy to put together with only a few decorations and a little DIY. I’m sharing all the details and the free printables below.

Leprechaun Loot St. Patrick’s Day Party

While many St. Patrick’s Day parties go with the typical green and gold, there is something so quintessential about rainbows and St. Patrick’s Day.

I decided to go colorful again this year and I love how this all came together.

DIY Rainbow Party Backdrop

This DIY rainbow party backdrop for St. Patrick’s Day is so easy to put together and only takes a few steps and supplies.

First, I started by picking up a selection of colorful plastic table cloths from Dollar Tree.  Unfortunately, they didn’t have orange like my printable, so I swapped it out with pink. No problem!

You’ll want to bunch up each of the table cloths a bit and then tape them at the top in a line. I used blue painter’s tape, to protect the wall. Don’t worry, you’re going to cover the tape, so use as much as you need to secure each table cloth.

I love these jumbo glitter shamrock cutouts, which I used in my Lucky You St. Patrick’s Day Party.

If you’re familiar with my parties, you’ll know I love to reuse party decorations, saving budget and space in my home. Tape these over the top of the table cloths to hide the blue tape.

Leprechaun Loot Cupcakes

Keep it simple with some cupcakes. I used some printables to create cupcake toppers, and they also make great favor tags.

Adding an 8×10″ sign is a cheap and easy way to tie in your theme.

Leprechaun Drink Station

Aren’t these little leprechaun cups from Oriental Trading so cute?

Sadly, I don’t think they are still available for sale, but they have lots of other options, like these rainbow cups great for kids or go with some green drink mugs for the adults.

I love paper straws and drink stirrers to add a little extra pizazz. I used the straw flags from my Lucky You party.

You can snag those free printables here. Don’t forget to say “Cheers” in Gaelic with a Sláinte 4×6″ printable sign. Pop it into my favorite IKEA frame.

Easy St. Patrick’s Day Party Mantel

My mantel doesn’t have a lot of space to decorate, and we have a tv over it, so I kept it simple by hanging this adorable banner from Sweet Georgia Sweet. It’s high quality material that will last for years.

I draped some faux boxwood garland along the top, and added a little sign in a gold spray painted frame to complete my look.
